Perfectionism often comes from a younger part of you who learned:


•     “I must get it right to be safe.”
•     “I can’t make mistakes.”
•     “I need to be strong.”
•     “I must not let anyone down.”


In therapy, we gently meet these younger parts with compassion rather than pressure.


We explore:
•     What that child needed but didn’t receive
•     How they learned to cope by being perfect
•     The fears they still carry
•     The longing for rest, play, and acceptance


Inner‑child work helps soften the emotional roots of perfectionism, allowing you to feel safe enough to be human, not flawless.
